Fokker D.XXI

The Fokker D.XXI, you can’t call it a pretty aircraft. it was the main fighter aircraft of the Dutch airforce in 1940 and it put up a damn good fight against the superior Luftwaffe.

A Dutch Fokker D.XXI has shot down a Messerschmitt Bf109E-3, whose pilot is about to bail out. Again quite an old image.
